– A Conversation with Film Editor Crispin Struthers (AMERICAN HUSTLE)  

We welcome Oscar® nominated film editor Crispin Struthers who joins us for a special conversation on his work on AMERICAN HUSTLE. Bring your questions for Crispin to engage with you – there will be plenty of time for questions!

AMERICAN HUSTLE marks Crispin’s third collaboration with director David O. Russell. Crispin was previously nominated for an Oscar for his editorial teamwork with Jay Cassidy on SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK. Crispin first teamed with David O. Russell as an assistant editor on THE FIGHTER. Crispin has worked on such films as ROCKNROLLAEAGLE EYEI AM NUMBER FOUR, as well as EARTH TO ECHO.

– VFX IN AMERICAN HUSTLE: Behind the Scenes with Zero VFX
Continuing the conversation about the post production for AMERICAN HUSTLE, VFX supervisor Sean Devereaux and co-founder Brian Drewes of Boston-based ZERO VFX will lead a discussion about their role in the post production and visual effects creation for AMERICAN HUSTLE; and how through VFX and creative vision, they helped transform the streets of 2013 Boston to the gritty streets of 1970s New York City!

Bright Family Screening RoomThe Bright Family 2K Screening Room

BOSCPUG is proud to work with Emerson Visual and Media Arts to offer an evening of production and post-production conversation in the intimate and state of the art Bright Family 2K Screening Room at The Paramount Center at Emerson College.

Named for the family of Kevin Bright ’76, the Bright Family Screening Room seats approximately 200 people. It features the latest film and 2K digital video projection including 35mm. The dramatic double-height Gallery and Lobby connects to the Paramount Mainstage.
