What’s Next with AdobeCCVide0: Al Mooney, Adobe

Adobe rolled out the new Adobe Premiere Pro at NABShow and here’s your chance to see what the fuss is all about and meet the man in charge of the program, Al Mooney.  Always one of our most popular guests, Al will show the improvements for editors with the tool, along with the new “Project Candy.”

Increasingly editors are expected to do more – from finessing audio to color correction and motion graphics work – earlier and earlier in the editing process. Adobe Premiere Pro has come to be known for its unparalleled innovation addressing the needs of editors through every step of the editing process. Al Mooney will demonstrate how, through Creative Cloud, new innovations will continue to make Premiere Pro CC the market leading NLE.

HD-VU2 Native File Viewer: Mark Hudgins, Imagine Products

Imagine Products has been creating software applications for the media and entertainment industry for over 20 years. By developing high value, innovative digital video utilities to backup, view, share, transcode and archive assets, Imagine Products has established a high reputation among filmmakers.

Mark Hudgins will show Imagine Product’s latest application HD-VU2 which is a native file viewer that instantly views over 20 camera formats without transcoding. HD-VU2 is powerful enough to view 4K files including ARRI RAW, CinemaDNG and all the RED formats, not to mention GoPro, Panasonic, Sony and countless others! A LUT file can also be imported and applied to one or a group of files for temporary color correction. HD-VU2 will also sync external audio files! HD-VU2 is an indispensible quality assurance tool for DITs and all filmmakers.

Imagine Products is most well known for their offloading application, ShotPut Pro, which is now in it’s 5th version. ShotPut Pro 5 offers incredible speed and efficiency and uses checksum technology to ensure offloading is 100% accurate.

The same thoughtfulness toward file accuracy was used when creating the archiving application, PreRoll Post. Combined with any LTO tape deck, PreRoll Post takes advantage of the LTFS (Linear Tape File System) supported by tape drive manufacturers. PreRoll Post can create thumbs, metadata and proxies all while backing up to many different locations. Both applications offer different presets for customizing to the end users specifications.

Imagine Products prides itself on creating powerful applications that are extremely affordable and even easier to use. Join them for a demonstration of HD-VU2 as well as tips and tricks in the field.
