It’s All True at Emerson College celebrates documentary films with two days of free screenings at the Paramount Theater, Bright Family Screening Room, 559 Washington Street, Boston.
Wednesday April 6, 7:00pm – a group of the best student documentaries from the past year will be screened. Refreshments will be served at intermission. Guest filmmaker Stanley Nelson will be in attendance.
Thursday April 7, 7:00pm – special guest filmmaker Stanley Nelson will screen his 2015 film “The Black Panthers: Vanguard of the Revolution,” accessing never-before-seen archival footage and interviewing surviving Panthers and FBI agents to tell the story of this influential revolutionary group. Stanley Nelson will hold Q & A after the film.
