Join Carl Peer of Canon U.S.A. for an interactive, hands-on talk about the new Canon 5D Mark III DSLR and trends in Canon EOS filmmaking. We will have the camera on hand to touch and try as well – plus a perfect opportunity to get your Canon EOS DSLR questions answered!
Colorist Rob Bessette of Finish Post will also join us for a lively talk with some of the filmmakers involved in making ‘HUSTLE“, an impromptu camera test turned short using the new Canon Cinema EOS C300 Digital Cinema Camera.
Join us for an interactive discussion on filming with the Canon C300 and thoughts of using it during the filming of Hustle. We will talk about the process of editing C300 footage and Hustle in Final Cut Pro using the Canon XF Log and Transfer Plug-in. Rob will talk about the color (ingest, latitude, etc) of the C300 footage and also have the actual project files on hand to show his approach to grading Hustle using DaVinci Resolve – and give a detailed breakdown of before and after images.
